Design for The Saffron, Sentul East

This project is still at the preliminary design stage and there are still many more rounds of discussions to go. This property at The Saffron, Sentul East, belongs to an expatriate couple who will stay in Malaysia under the My Second Home programme.

I have proposed a modern and simple design as this style is favoured by Malaysians and this will help them find a buyer easily when they wish to return home in a few years to come. On the walls, I have used warm earthy greys. The greys here look brownish because it's difficult to control how colours turn out in the software. The grey walls have "absorbed" the brown from the floor laminates.
Warm greys are not commonly used but I feel one's home should be special and need not follow what everyone else is using. How I dread to see so many beige coloured walls that developers like to use! It's just too safe and too boring.
